Money Talks is an artists' discussion event focusing on raising money for arts projects and providing support for artists who are interested in exploring avenues of funding outside of the traditional UK routes (e.g. Arts Council grants and Trusts & Foundations).

Artist Scottee and Live Art Development Agency Director, CJ Mitchell will offer insights into their own experiences of raising money through crowd funding. A case study on sponsorship will also be presented, to better understand how businesses work with artists, what they look for in artists' projects and vice versa. Presentations will be followed by group discussions.

Money Talks is an initiative putting artists' experiences and reflections at the heart of a two-year action research project on fundraising by Artsadmin, Home Live Art and Live Art Development Agency funded by Arts Council England's Catalyst programme. A summary of LADA's Catalyst activities can be read here.
