LADA at Venice International Performance Art Week

Venice International Performance Art Week, 2nd Edition
13 – 20 December 2014
Palazzo Mora, Strada Nova, Venice

RITUAL BODY – POLITICAL BODY

LADA is delighted to be a Special Guest at this year’s Performance Art Week in Venice, presenting a screening programme, a talk and an installation of Study Boxes.

Curated and produced by the artists VestAndPage, Performance Art Week 2014 will be an extraordinary constellation of live performances, exhibitions, installations, screenings and debates by over 50 international artists.

Exploring the theme RITUAL BODY – POLITICAL BODY, the programme investigates a wide range of concepts such as: art as a space for civil negotiation where human ethical values are the core; interconnectivity; political confrontation; utopia; ecological issues; social and individual conflicts and responsibilities, and how the self relates to them, at the same time concentrating on the fact that the presence of the human beings in this world is always more than a temporary condition.

More informatin can be found on the Venice International Performance Art Week website.
