Artsadmin in collaboration with LADA's Digital Programmes Manager, Alex Eisenberg are hosting a Sweatshop on Documentation, looking at a range of approaches to documenting performative and participatory work. Sharing tips, past experiences and case studies, opening up discussion around the various paybacks and pitfalls of documentation, from representing your work in applications and promotional material to the choice to refuse documentation altogether.
Artsadmin and LADA's expertise and experience lie in performance and live art, and so places for Sweatshops are best suited to artists working directly in these fields.
This will be a discursive, free session for up to 12 artists.
To book, email [email protected] with a short introduction to your practice and why you’d like to attend.
Please send your access requirements ahead of time by emailing [email protected].
