As part of their DIY Progression, Daniel Oliver is hosting a hotch potch dyspraxic day of discussions, presentations, rituals and workshops around the topic of dyspraxia, performance art, neurodiversity, time travel and the forthcoming neurodivergent dysutopia (sp). It will be free and open to everyone with attendees encouraged to pop in and out.
Throughout the day there will be short presentations and provocations by artists including; Luke Ferris, Jo Hauge, Ben Mills, Terry Lewis, Charlene Salter and Chloe Spicer.
Please email [email protected] for more information. The space is wheelchair accessible via a temporary ramp. There will be wheelchair accessible portaloo onsite, as the main toilets are up some stairs.
DIY Progression is a new initiative to allow artists to develop the work undertaken on their DIYs. This could involve the creation of new performance works, ongoing collaborative research with other artists, or something else entirely. DIY Progression is supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation.
