On Saturday 1 June 2019, with the Drama Department at Queen Mary University of London, LADA presented a day of discussions around kickstarting and maintaining a Live Art practice, and an opportunity to find out more about the exciting MA Live Art programme that began in September 2018 in a new partnership between Queen Mary and LADA. To ChannelLADA Screens
LADA Screens is a series of free, online screenings of seminal performance documentation, works to camera, short films/video and archival footage.
Through LADA’s dedicated Live Online video channel we will present rarely seen and exclusive material. Each screening will be available to view for a limited time only and will be launched with a live event at our space in Bethnal Green, London. Online art magazine, thisistomorrow will also feature the films on their website for the duration of the screenings.

In 2016 Sibylle Peters undertook a LADA Study Room research residency exploring Live Art practices and methodologies in working with children and young people as part of Restock, Rethink, Reflect Four, a project on the ways in which Live Art has developed new forms of access, knowledge, agency, and inclusion in relation to the disempowered constituencies of the young, the old, the displaced, and those excluded through social and economic barriers.
