DIY 11 is an opportunity for artists working in Live Art to take part in unusual training and professional development projects conceived and run BY artists FOR artists.

This year there are 23 projects for both emergent and experienced practitioners taking place across the UK between July and November 2014.

DIY 11 projects represent a wide variety of approaches and subjects including motorcycling, drag families, plagiurism, wage, weather, eavesdropping, archives, astrology, feminism and much, much more.

Applications are now welcomed for participation in all DIY11 projects.

This year there are two deadlines for applying to participate in DIY:

The first deadline, Tuesday June 24th, is for projects led by Anne Bean, Stacy Makishi,  Andy Field, Mel Brimfield & Gwyneth Herbert and Lucky Pierre.

Deadline extended to Friday 4th July for projects led by Abigail Conway, Harold Offeh, Tim Jeeves

The second deadline, Monday July 21st is for projects led by Alana Jelinek, Anthony Schrag, Dickie Beau, Ernst Fischer, French & Mottershead, Geraldine Pilgrim, Gillie Kleiman, Jason & Becky, Johanna Linsley, Katie Etheridge & Simon Persighetti, Lauren Barri Holstein & Martin O'Brien, Madeleine Botet de Lacaze, Manuel Vason, Nando Messias and Nicola Canavan.

Participation in most DIY projects is free of charge. Some projects may necessitate a small financial contribution from participants to cover particular expenses.
