Description
“NAVIGATE is a two-way learning, roving group of artists. Between a yard, a boat, and a studio, we will use temporary sites where artists can set-up in the city.”
Inspired by the Live Art Development Agency’s DIY 10, Sadie Edginton and Gerald Curtis aimed to create a platform for an ‘immersive learning environment which explores ideas of collaboration and artist-practice issues through key themes in the lead artist’s practice’.
Supported by Hackney wickED Festival, the two workshops were ‘Doing Things Without An Aim’ and ‘Madness, Sanity and Gentrification’. This booklet is the documentation of this process, and the participants response to the workshops, from poetry to performance.
