15th Anniversary print: Hugo Glendinning, Tea Break/Illusion
LADA marks its 15th anniversary in 2014, and we are celebrating with initiatives across the year which provide an opportunity to reflect on the seismic shifts in Live Art practices and discourses that have taken place since 1999 through the lens of the Agency and its work. Our anniversary activities include series of new artworks, each in a limited edition of 15, by some of the extraordinary artists we have collaborated with in a variety of ways over the last 15 years.
For LADA’s fifth 15th Anniversary limited edition series, Hugo Glendinning has produced Tea Break/Illusion, an iconic image created with Glendinning’s long term collaborators Forced Entertainment for a one off performance of First Night in Lisbon, November 2014.
Hugo Glendinning has been working as a photographer for twenty years. His output stretches across the cultural industries from fine art collaborations in video and photography, through production and performance documentation to portrait work.
He has worked with most leading British theatre and dance companies and has published and exhibited work internationally, notably his continuing project of documentation and the investigation of performance photography with Forced Entertainment.
