LADA marks its 15th anniversary in 2014.

Our 15th Anniversary Report highlights a selection of our many projects, publications, resources and opportunities since 1999 and is now available to view online.

We are also celebrating our anniversary with a series of initiatives across the year, reflecting on the seismic shifts in Live Art practices that have taken place since 1999 through the lens of the Agency and its work. Anniversary activities include:

Limited Edition Series

A series of new artworks, each in a limited edition of 15, by some of the extraordinary artists we have collaborated with in a variety of ways over the last 15 years.

The first 15th Anniversary limited edition is a photographic collaboration between Manuel Vason and Hugo Glendinning, two of the world’s leading photographers of Live Art who we have worked with on many curatorial and publishing projects, including Live Culture and Manuel’s forthcoming book Double Exposures.

The second is a photograph, Under Cover, by Zierle & Carter, who have contributed to many DIY and other professional development projects and resources.

The third print is a photograph by Rosa Frank of LADA Patron Raimund Hoghe, the cover image from the Intellect Live publication Throwing The Body Into The Fight.

The fourth is a limited edition lino-cut print comprised of a text which reads simply LOOK AWAY by LADA Patron Tim Etchells, who we have collaborated with on numerous publications, curatorial and archival projects, including Programme Notes, Live Culture and Legacy.

The fifth is a mounted triptych of prints derived from Barflies by George Chakravarthi who we have worked with as Thinker In Residence and on archival and curatorial projects such as Documenting Live and Just Like A Woman.

The sixth print is a photograph taken by Hugo Glendinning entitled Tea Break/Illusion, this iconic image was created with Glendinning’s long term collaborators Forced Entertainment for a one off performance of First Night in Lisbon, November 2014.
