The Katherine Araniello Bursary Award

The brilliant artist Katherine Araniello died on Monday 25 February 2019

Katherine was an extraordinary human being, a fearless activist, and an artist who was central to so many lives, including LADA’s. 

Katherine was an inspiration to countless artists whether they admired her from afar, or took part in one of her wild workshops, or collaborated with her on all kinds of projects.

To honour her influence and ensure her lasting legacy, Katherine’s partner Tracey Jannaway, her family and LADA have set up a fund to create an annual Katherine Araniello Bursary Award for an unapologetically radical and politicised artist who works in Live Art and identifies as a disabled person.
