Remote Performances: Listening Post in the LADA Study Room
- Year
- 2014
Join us in our Study Room until Friday 8 August, where we’ve set up a listening post for Remote Performances, a collaboration between artists London Fieldworks, Resonance104.4fm, (the world’s first art radio station), and LADA.
Remote Performances will be broadcast daily from 12-4pm (listen live) through Resonance.
From the 4 to 9 August 2014, 20 specially commissioned artist performances and programmes created with local residents are being broadcast live from Outlandia, a unique artists’ field-station in Glen Nevis, Lochaber, Scotland. With Resonance’s mobile studio ‘in residence’, Outlandia will become a portal between Lochaber and the rest of the world, a context in which participants can transmit experiences of place to diverse audiences through art, music and performance.
