A Participatory Walk with Todd Shalom

Elastic City: Prompts for Participatory Walks is a new book edited by Todd Shalom that includes instructions (aka prompts) from more than 35 artists' walks alongside the insights of EC Founder Todd Shalom, who spent 14 years presenting and refining walks. The participatory walk can radically reframe one’s everyday experience, and you are invited to use this book as a tool for creating your own walks or other forms of participatory art.

To mark the launch of Elastic City please join Todd on a 60 to 75 minute improvised, participatory walk through Bethnal Green, beginning and ending at The Garrett Centre. Todd will facilitate the creation of collective poetic responses to the unfolding landscape by incorporating techniques from poetry, movement, sound and photography.

This event has a limited capacity.

Copies of the book will be available to purchase for £25.
