Description
In October 2019, over twenty ghosts haunted Toynbee Studios in London. They ran around the building, made a mess, and slumped over in exhaustion. They also took a lot of photos. This digital publication presents these ferocious images, alongside 12 short essays put together by Chatum Tanning: reflecting on their experience of the two days, what it means to briefly inhabit an arts institution, and the urgency and impossibility of working with ghosts.
Ghosting was hosted by Chatum Tanning, and was commissioned by the Live Art Development Agency through their annual DIY programme, in partnership with Artsadmin.
