Pani documents and contextualises activities of Bbeyond performance art organisation from 2001 to 2008, also covering two exchanges with Québec and Helsinki.

 

The publication features documentation images, a selection of interviews with Alastair MacLennan, Richard Martel, Boris Nieslony, Marilyn Arsem, Irma Optimist and Elvira Santamaria as well as essays and responses written by Mark Ward, Chrissie Caldman, Colm Clarke, Dan Shipsides and Will Pollard

Bbeyond are committed to promoting the practice of performance art and artists in Northern Ireland and further afield. Their aim is to raise people’s consciousness of live/performance art as being integral to the world in and around us, inspiring reflection and enriching lived experience. They host artists of international reputation throughout the performance art world and encourage newer artists to experience performance art practices for themselves.
